Sea cargo is priced per cubic metre, all-in. The chargeable volume is the greater of actual
volume and weight divided by 400 kg, rounded up to 0.1 CBM, minimum 1 CBM. The rate depends on the cargo
category and on whether delivery is to Dubai and Sharjah or to the other emirates. Full containers are
quoted separately.
Air cargo is priced per chargeable kilogram, the greater of actual and volumetric weight
(length x width x height in cm divided by 5,000), minimum 1 kg. Parcels under 16 kg pay a first-kilogram
price plus each additional kilogram; from 16 kg a flat rate per kg applies, from 100 kg a lower one.

your address. Saudi Arabia is estimated at the UAE tariff plus 12 percent until the KSA table is published.

Why is sea priced per CBM but air per kilogram?+
Consolidated sea cargo fills containers by volume, so the partner bills per cubic metre: the greater of actual volume and weight divided by 400 kg, minimum 1 CBM. Air is constrained by weight, so it bills the greater of actual and volumetric kilograms (length x width x height in cm divided by 5000), minimum 1 kg.
Why is there no full-container option?+
This calculator prices consolidated cargo with duty and VAT paid, which is what most Gulf importers buying from several suppliers need. From roughly 15 CBM a dedicated container can be cheaper. Request a quote and we will price both.
Do these prices include duty and VAT?+
Yes. The figure is all-in: freight, fuel, UAE customs duty, 5 percent VAT and one delivery to your address. What it does not include is a customs declaration in your own company name, so this route does not give you a VAT invoice to reclaim against. If you need that, ask for a general-trade declaration; it costs extra and adds about a week at sea.
